Limericks are 5-line poems, full of rhymes and generally silliness. The last syllable of lines 1,2 and 5 rhyme and the last syllable of lines 3 and 4 rhyme together (A,A,B,B,A). Still confused how to write one? Read more about limericks here.
Your mission is to submit a limerick by close of day at 6:00 pm on Saturday, March 16th. We will then have our wine family vote on their top limerick anonymously March 17th-19th. Anyone who submits a limerick in person during open tasting room hours or by email to wine@jovinea.com will receive a $2 coupon off their next purchase (can be used same day!). The winner will be able to choose a bottle of wine and the next two runner-ups can choose their favorite chocolate item in our tasting room.
The catch? The limerick must use at least one of the following words:
bottle
bliss
mud
hammock
Good luck!
